Nashville Midsize Jet Charter

Midsize jets are among the aircraft Private Jets Nashville arranges for trips to and from Nashville. The types we arrange seat 6 to 10 passengers, with published ranges from 1,810 to 2,950 nautical miles. Which one suits your trip depends on the passenger count, the baggage, the distance and the airports at both ends.

Typical Aircraft

The types we arrange in this category are Cessna Citation Excel, Cessna Citation III, Cessna Citation VII, Dassault Falcon 20, Embraer Legacy 450, Gulfstream G100 / G150, Hawker 700, Hawker 800 / 800XP, Hawker 900XP, Learjet 55 and Learjet 60.

When Midsize Jets Fit a Nashville Trip

Midsize jets take Nashville clients past the Southeast to New York, Boston, Texas and the Rocky Mountains. Once a flight runs for several hours, a cabin you can move around in and a proper baggage compartment start to matter.

The aircraft in this category differ more than the label suggests. Cabin size, baggage space and range vary across the 11 types listed above, and the right one depends on how many people are traveling and what is coming with them. Send us the details, and we will narrow the list down for you.

Whether a particular aircraft can use a particular airport on your date is a calculation the operator makes for that weight and that day’s weather, and your advisor will confirm it before anything is booked.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Nashville-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

Nashville International is the only airport in the Nashville area with customs, so a flight arriving from abroad lands there first. Tower hours shape the rest of the choice. Nashville International is staffed around the clock, John C. Tune from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Smyrna until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 7 p.m. on weekends, so a late departure from either of those two takes a little more planning. Franklin and Brentwood have no airport of their own, and clients there usually fly from Nashville International or John C. Tune. Ramp space at Nashville International gets tight on big event weekends, such as Titans home games, and in spring a line of thunderstorms can hold departures until it passes.
